New Campers - Registration Process
Please read through all three steps below. Each step and all requirements are necessary to become registered with Camp Canine. Your dog(s) must be registered in order to make reservations for overnight and/or daycare. Registering your family is a one-time process, and the registration is good for a lifetime!

Steps to Registration:

New families should contact Camp Canine. Either send an interest email to office@campcanine.com or simply fill out our interest form, see button below. If you are being referred, current members may also send a referral email.
Complete & submit initial forms and complete all health requirements. Forms will be sent by the front desk staff upon receiving your interest form or email.
New campers attend an evaluation day, a "get to know you day" for them and us!

This process was designed to fully inform new families and provide the most all-embracing atmosphere for everyone. We want to make sure Camp Canine is the right fit for you and your fur baby.

Your dog(s) must be registered with Camp Canine in order to make reservations for daycare or overnight. Registering your family is a one-time process with a one-time $60 registration fee. Registration is good for a lifetime!

Referral

Do you know a current Camp Canine member? If so, have them send a referral letter recommending you to Camp Canine. This is preferred, but not required.

Existing customer needs to state how they know you, and if they know your dog.
This referral must be in writing and emailed to office@campcanine.com.

The referral letter does not replace the interest form or Interest letter from you, we will still need that step completed.

Interest Form

Evaluation

In order to be social at Camp Canine, each camper must have an evaluation. Evaluations are $40 for the first camper and $25 for each additional camper. This is a "get to know you" day for the new camper(s). During the evaluation new campers will attend play group and a specialized counselor will monitor them, noting their comfort level, behavior, and play style. We will talk to the parents at pick up time and go over how the first day was for their camper(s). Due to the highly social and active nature of Camp Canine, it is not always the right fit for each dog. If we feel that a camper will not benefit from the structure of Camp, we are always honest with owners.

Schedule your Camper's Evaluation with the Front Desk
- Once the Front Desk has received your paperwork and health information, we will reach out to you with possible dates that are available for an evaluation.
At pick up time, we will review your camper's first day and provide you with a behavior report.

Payment for the evaluation ($40 for the first camper and $25 for each additional) and the registration fee ($60) is due at this time. The Front Desk staff with collect your payment information.
Membership - The Front Desk will provide information on the options for Membership clubs.
- You can choose to do Membership, but you do not have to become a member. If you choose to not be a Member, then you will pay the regular rates and will not be applicable for our Membership perks.
- Pick the club(s) that is the best fit for your camper and you!

Once the registration and evaluation are completed, then your camper(s) may attend daycare and overnight. With some campers, we may suggest more daycare days before an overnight so that they may get more comfortable in our environment before a sleep over.

You may also choose a membership at this time, membership is then renewed yearly and membership fees are due by January 31 each year.

Forms & Requirements

Forms

After the Front Desk receives your Interest Form, we will send you the following forms to complete:

Registration Form: This form will give you information about Camp Canine's processes and procedures.
Camper Profile: Please fill out one form per camper. This form will give us information about your camper so that we can know them better before meeting them on their evaluation day.
Health Certificate: Please print out the Health Certificate and drop it off at your veterinarian. Your vet can complete the form and return it to us by email. Camp will need one form per camper.

Health Requirements

Before joining Camp Canine, your camper must be up to date on all of our medical requirements. We will ask that your veterinarian fills out and signs our Health Certificate.

Our requirements:

Distemper
Rabies
Bordatella
Negative fecal exam
Negative heartworm exam
Campers over 1 year of age must be spayed/neutered.
Dewormer - Camp requires a dewormer before the initial visit; only Drontal, Triwormer, or Panacur are accepted. This medication must be given or started 7 days prior to their visit or given within 30 days of their evaluation day at Camp. Drontal, Triwormer, and Panacur can be purchased from your veterinarian.

Camp's strict deworming policy was put in place to ensure the health and safety of all of our campers. Once your camper has completed their evaluation and taken the initial dewormer, the need for future deworming is based on their monthly heartworm preventative. If your camper is on Interceptor, Sentinel, Trifexis, Combo-gard, or Advantage Multi for their monthly heartworm preventative, then this medicine will cover all of the types of parasites that Camp Canine requires to be covered. Camp requires roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms to be covered by your monthly preventative. If your camper is on another product, then Camp Canine requires that you deworm them with either Drontal, Triwormer, or Panacur every three months.

Tours

Tours may be scheduled with the Front Desk staff, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9-11AM and 1-3PM.

You must send your Interest Form prior to filling out the other forms. The Front Desk will provide the password to access the forms.
